Johnstown, PA (WJAC) — Local officials say work is underway to replace some of Johnstown’s aging playground equipment.
On Tuesday, crews were seen tearing down the wooden playground on Village Street in Johnstown’s Moxham neighborhood.
City manager Ethan Imhoff says they're working to rebuild the park with new equipment once the weather breaks.
He says work also includes the city's Somerset Street playground and the Sandyvale Park, although that work will mostly include adding new equipment to those playgrounds.
