David E. Venuti, 45, Lifelong Elmsford Resident

ELMSFORD, N.Y. -- David E. Venuti of Elmsford died Wednesday, Nov. 27. He was 45.

Venuti was born Feb. 5, 1968, to Robert and Regina Venuti. A lifelong resident of Elmsford, he attended Alexander Hamilton High School and was named Most Valuable Player of the football team in 1983. He was former co-owner of Fresco Market in Tuckahoe and R&D Country Store in Yonkers.

Venuti is survived by his wife, Rosemary; his daughter, Melissa; sisters, Nancy and Theresa; brothers, Robert, Thomas and Patrick; and nieces and a nephew.

Services will be held Friday, Nov. 29 from 5 to 9 p.m. at Ballard-Durand Funeral Home in Elmsford. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m., Saturday, Nov. 30, at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church in Elmsford.
