So, on the show Claire offers Nikki tea and doesn’t drink, and earlier before they arrive at the lake house in Oregon, Claire spoke to her Aunit Jordan on cellphone and tells her to: “get everything ready!”…OMG, what came to MY mind and knowing this show with past stuff happening, I think MAYBE Aunt Jordan will BECOME Nikki, maybe another TWIN/doppeldanger story??? And the “Aunt” goes back to Genoa City and fills in “as Nikki”…!!!

OR, if not the above, then this: RANSOM, ransom, ransom!

A third possibility to this MYSTERY with Clair and what she’s doing with Nikki COULD BE: that “Aunt Jordan” is really NIKKI’s TWIN that Nikki didn’t know about and wants revenge on Nikki for whatever reason…seems Claire referred to something in dialogue that said to Nikki, “soon things will be what they should be”…or something like that…I think this is a great mystery!!

And, also when the Newmans have “in-fighting” and don’t get along, seems there is a CRISIS to have them ALL band together and get everything resolved ONCE they find out what is actually going on! I can’t wait to find out what IS GOING ON!!!

I don’t want a twin/doppleganger story either. Y&R has done too many of them. Cassie and Mariah, Sheila’s crazy sister who became Lauren, Sheila became Phyllis, Jack and the south american double, and I think someone who Jack was dating was crazy Patty’s double? There may be more I can’t recall.

Exactly! And on THIS SOAP, it does happen and it seems it’s a “fall back on” storyline that they use when all else fails OR to highlight or have the actress (this case, actress for Nikki, play a DUAL role, showcase them…IDK…we know Y&R does this, it’s NOT out of the realm…

Nikki could have a long lost twin, since that is also used…or the so called Aunt Jordan could get plastic surgery to BECOME Nikki and fill in for her life!!!

I was just asking in another post why we should care since Claire will be found out and go the way of Cameron but not if Nikki has a double. It is done a lot on soaps, but I would read on to see where that goes. Great post. I enjoyed it

Thanks K5M5T5! It just seems something like this happening will RALLY all the Newmans (and Abbotts probably too as well as Winters family) to save Nikki and get thru this mystery!!! Whoa is going to be the “perfect” Ms Claire!!! This will be a good story…better than the back and forth against Adam and the constant standoff with Tucker, etc etc ad nauseam…

In a short time, Casey (Nikki’s sister) will contact Victor and ask if Nikki got “delayed” in her visit to Casey…and then Victor will have to "get his best people together (and we know how incompetent they can be lol), to go find Nikki!!! Oh my!!!
