(CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — INXS have rescheduled three shows that were cancelled after lead singer J.D. Fortune was diagnosed with bronchitis. Fortune was under doctor's orders to rest his voice.

"We're deeply disappointed and apologize to the fans for any inconvenience," says INXS guitarist Tim Farriss. "We know that two of the shows were sold out and would like everyone to know that this decision was not taken lightly. The band was really looking forward to these dates and wants to thank everyone for their incredible support."

New dates for the three concerts are as follows:

Tuesday, February 28 – Family Arena, St. Charles, MO (originally scheduled for Feb. 1)

Wednesday, March 1 – Midland Theatre, Kansas City, MO (originally scheduled for Feb. 2)

Thursday, March 2 – Orpheum Theatre, Minneapolis, MN (originally scheduled for Feb. 3)

Tickets for the original shows will be honoured on the new dates. Patrons unable to attend the rescheduled performances may obtain a refund at point of purchase. Fan Club members who participated in a Fan Club presale for these dates will be notified with further details shortly. –by CelebrityAccess Staff Writers
