Blair Co., PA (WJAC) — A lot of fun was had at Juniata Gap Elementary School on Thursday as students participated in a variety of hands-on activities for the 25th annual "Day of the Arts."

This year, 25 local artists and performers donated their time to present workshops to students in kindergarten through 5th grade.

Presentations included soap carvers, martial arts, dancing and much more.

“The students are able to see a different way they might be able to express themselves.”

The day ended with a special 25th anniversary celebration honoring presenters who have participated for many years.
