ALTOONA, Pa. (WJAC) — An annual Blair County holiday display featuring thousands of lights is set to open this week.
The 23rd annual Holiday Lights on the Lake at Lakemont Park will open Friday, the park announced Monday.
The holiday display illuminates 51 acres of Lakemont Park as visitors drive through the lights and animated displays.
This year, visitors are tasked with finding Santa’s favorite sweet treats hidden throughout the display, while writing down what they find on their entry form, for a chance to win $1,000 at the gift shop at Santa’s Village, Lakemont Park announced.
At Santa’s Village, guests can take pictures with Santa himself and enjoy a model train display and holiday treats and refreshments.
According to park officials, Holiday Lights on the Lake will be open from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. every night from Friday until Jan. 5, 2020.
Admission is $13 per car and unlimited visit passes are also available for $44.95.
