Murder Suspect Marched To Jail By Fairfax County Police (Video)

Alexandria resident Malik Johnson, 22, was arrested by members of the Fairfax County Police Department’s Fugitive Track and Apprehension Squad for his alleged role in the death of Lorton native Jordan Summers in the 7900 block of Audubon Avenue.

Officials say that Summers was found by a member of the community lying on the sidewalk at approximately 8:02 p.m. on Dec. 5, 2022, suffering from apparent gunshot wounds that left him with extensive trauma to his upper body.

He was pronounced dead at the scene by Fairfax County Fire and Rescue personnel, according to police. No firearm was ever recovered

Police said that through the evaluation of surveillance footage and forensic evidence, Johnson was identified as the main suspect in the murder, and warrants for his arrest were issued for second-degree murder and use of a firearm in the commission of a felony.

Johnson was taken into custody without incident on those charges and he’s being held at the Fairfax County Adult Detention Center without bond.
