Can’t Buy Modern Warfare 3 Season 2 Battle Pass – The Game Shows Season 1 Battle Pass
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 Season 2 is now live across all platforms. However, instead of divining into action and exploring new content, a number of players are forced to “explore” potential ways to fix many issues at launch. The most prevailing problem currently is related to the new battle pass. Namely, based on various complaints on the game’s official subreddit and Discord, many players can’t buy the MW3 Season 2 battle pass. That is, despite updating the game, the client still shows the old Season 1 battle pass. On top of it, all the progress on the rewards has been removed.
Unfortunately, there’s not much you can currently do about this. Players have tried restarting the game, restarting the PC or console, reinstalling the game, and logging in and out of their Activision account. None of these measures seems to work. They are still unable to buy the new battle pass. Hence, if you are one of these players, the best course of action currently is to simply leave the game and wait for the developers to patch the issue with a hotfix. Hopefully, that will be soon.
MW3 Season 2 Accidentally Bought Season 1 Battle Pass Again Issue
Unfortunately, in their excitement, wanting to start playing as soon as possible, many players have accidentally purchased the Season 1 battle pass again, as they didn’t see that the game didn’t switch to the Season 2 battle pass. In this case, what you should do is immediately contact Activision support, explain what happened, and ask for either a refund or a Season 2 battle pass. Hopefully, the issue will resolve on its own once they fix the battle pass bug. If not, we’re sure that the support will refund you so that you can spend that COD Points or money on the Season 2 battle pass.
