If you have stolen weapons or any other stolen gear in your possession, the first thing that you are going to need to do is to make your way to a Trade Authority kiosk. You can see where to find these (and other vendors) in our Vendor Locations guide. The Trade Authority is a very important shop because this is where you can sell any items, regardless of type. And, much more importantly, regardless of whether it is stolen. You can even sell off your contrabands here.

In here, look for the stolen item that you want the stolen tag removed from and sell. But, and this is very important – do not exit the Trade Menu once you have sold it. What you need to do next is to buy back that item. Don’t worry, it is going to cost exactly what you sold it for, so you won’t be losing any money in this exchange. When you have done this, you will see that the item no longer has the red tag on it that indicates it is stolen gear.
