BIOGRAPHY
Robert Thomas Letterman, known simply as Rob Letterman , is an American director and screenwriter, born on October 31, 1970, in Honolulu, Hawaii. Graduated from the University of Southern California, Letterman headed down the path of animation, making his successful debut with the short film Los Gringos (1999). His debut in feature films was with the animated film Shark Scare (2004), and he later directed the animated film Monsters vs. Aliens (2009) and the live action films Gulliver’s Travels (2010) and Goosebumps (2015). Recently, the director is responsible for the film Pokémon: Detective Pikachu (2019) in which Ryan Reynolds and the Mexican actor and comedian, Omar Chaparro, participated. Letterman has not yet confirmed what his next project in the film industry will be.
