To kick off the Labor Day Weekend, St. Michael's Fire Company is having their 33rd annual St. Michael Labor Day festival.

With over 126 vendor booths and a wide variety of food, live music and kids’ entertainment, the fire company is providing one of the largest and most involved holiday celebrations.

“This fundraiser is our largest fundraiser for the fire department," said Paul Kundrod, Chief of St. Michael Fire Company. "Those funds go toward a lot of good things, new trucks, new equipment, a new fire hose. It takes a lot of money to run a fire department and this is one of the benefactors, one of the main reasons where that money goes to.”

The festival is goes on until 10pm Saturday and Sunday and concludes with a firework display Sunday at 9pm.
