Tickets for the tripleheader, to be held at Stepinac High School, 950 Mamaroneck Ave., go on sale Wednesday in anticipation of a sell-out.
The excitement gets underway at 4 p.m. when the freshmen teams square off, followed by a junior varsity game at 5:45 p.m.
But, the real fever-pitched moment for fans from both schools begins 7:30 p.m., when the varsity Crusaders and Gaels compete in a CHSAA game that will be broadcast live by News 12 Varsity.
Stepinac is in second place in the league standings (8-3) and Iona in fourth place (7-5).
Ticket prices are $5 for adults and $3 for students with a school ID and children under 12. Tickets will be available at both schools from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday and from 9 a.m. to noon Friday, or until the allotted number of tickets are sold out.
Each ticket is for all three games. However, fans are advised that there will be no re-entry if they leave the building during the tripleheader and that the “no ticket, no entrance” policy will be strictly enforced.
