Elden Ring Twinblade Location

April 2024 · 3 minute read

The Twinblade is a very interesting early weapon that you can acquire in Elden Ring – provided you know the right location. With blades on both ends, it resembles a double-bladed lightsaber that Darth Maul used in The Phantom Menace. It scales with Strength and Dexterity (both D), and you will need to have a minimum of STR 10 and DEX 18 to wield it. The Twinblade’s attacks don’t have a lot of range, but their advantage is that they are very fast with the Spinning Slash skill, so you can quickly deal several attacks in a short amount of time. As such, it can be a great weapon to use for melee dedicated characters. To help you get your hands on it as soon as possible, we will show you the exact Twinblade Location in Elden Ring.

How to Get Twinblade in Elden Ring

You can get the Twinblade by going to the Dragon-Burnt Ruins. This location is part of the Limgrave region, and is close to the Agheel Lake. We have marked this location on the map in the screenshot gallery down below. You should be very careful around this area, as this is the place where you can encounter the Flying Dragon Agheel boss. Once you arrive at this location, head to the ruins themselves and go downstairs. You will need to perform a double jump with your horse to enter this section of the ruins. Another thing that you should know about these Ruins is that there is an underground passage here that can teleport you to a very high-level area in Caelid – something that you probably don’t want at this point in the game.

Here, there is a door. Once you open it, you will see a chest. The Twinblade is in this chest, so loot it to get the weapon. The Twinblade itself is an excellent early weapon, and to use its full potential, you should definitely wield it with both hands. If you are unsure of how to do this, our How to Two-Hand Weapons guide explains this Elden Ring mechanic.

Very early in your exploration of Elden Ring world you will find out that you need to prepare your character for different tasks. You'll need to learn how to use Ashes of War, how to two-hand weapons, or use magic spells during the course of your adventures. Many secrets are also waiting for you, such as, a hostile NPC Sellen that doesn't let you see her shop, an invisible man in a bush, or a huge turtle with a bell that lets you duplicate some very important items.
