The supermarket will expand its 49,000-square-foot store by 7,000 square feet and expand its food selections and specialty offerings, according to the report.
ShopRite will expand its produce, seafood, deli and dairy departments. The store will also expand its natural, organic and gluten-free products in each department.
ShopRite provides home delivery for customers who want to order groceries online. There’s a $50 minimum on the amount of groceries customers can spend in order to receive home delivery, and customers must have one of the following zip codes: 10701, 10704 and 10705.
While the Yonkers ShopRite is closed for renovations, a free shuttle service will take customers from the Greenway Plaza to a neighboring ShopRite on Tuckahoe Road starting Friday, running from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. every day except Wednesdays and Sundays.
