Eileen Davidson has elected to sign a contract as Genoa City’s Ashley Abbott, according to Soap Opera Digest. Davidson, who has been recurring as Ashley on “The Young and the Restless” while also playing Kristen on “Days of our Lives” intermittently, will reportedly make her permanent return to “Y&R” with scenes airing onscreen in early September.
